Review
Service — Producer registry

Review your producer-registration
route for Spain.

We prepare and coordinate the agreed private service for the Registro de Productores de Producto. The registry independently decides whether and when to register a producer, and each marketplace independently reviews submitted information.

Timing depends on document completeness and independent registry and scheme review

The deliverable

A producer-registration dossier prepared for submission

  • Obligations and applicable streams mapped for the dossier
  • Registry-issued records supplied if the application is accepted
  • Marketplace submission guidance, with independent platform review

Any number or certificate is issued only by the relevant registry

The legal basis

RD 1055/2022 — mandatory from the very first parcel

Spain's packaging royal decree establishes producer-registration obligations without a general minimum-volume exemption. Marketplaces may request and independently review producer-registration information under their own compliance processes.

Where sellers get stuck

A marketplace requested information

Marketplaces may request EPR information and may restrict listings under their own policies. They independently decide whether submitted evidence satisfies their request.

The registry speaks Spanish only

Forms, product categories and correspondence are all in Spanish, designed for domestic companies — and non-residents cannot file without a representative.

Wrong category, wrong number

Mis-declaring streams or materials means corrections, delays, and a registration that does not match what you actually sell.

What's included

Everything, handled.

  • Obligation mapping — which streams you actually owe
  • Complete registry dossier prepared for you
  • Filing under our authorized representation
  • Registry-issued number and certificate supplied if the file is accepted
  • Guidance for submitting registry records to a marketplace
  • Registry data kept current as your catalog evolves
How it works

Four controlled steps.

01

Tell us what you sell

Products, materials, volumes and where you ship from — one guided form, in English.

02

We prepare the dossier

Streams, categories and declarations mapped correctly the first time. You sign electronically.

03

Coordinated for submission

The dossier is submitted under the mandate identified in the engagement documents.

04

Third-party review

The registry determines issuance and timing. If it issues records, we send them to you with guidance for any separate marketplace submission.

Frequently asked

How long does registration take?

Timing depends on document completeness and third-party processing. The registry and any preceding tax or scheme process independently determine their review time. We do not guarantee issuance or a completion date. The company-only NIF application-preparation service costs €299 with an EPR dossier or €449 standalone.

Is there a sales threshold before I must register?

No. Registration is mandatory from the first parcel — the law sets a 0 kg threshold. Recycling fees scale with your volume; the obligation to register does not.

What information may Amazon request?

Amazon may ask for a producer registration number issued by the Registro de Productores de Producto and may request supporting records. If the registry accepts the application, we supply the authority-issued records. Amazon independently reviews every submission.

Do I need a separate registration per marketplace?

A producer registration is not issued separately for each sales channel. However, each marketplace independently determines what information it requests and accepts. Additional product streams such as WEEE or batteries can require separate registrations.
